The Canon XF100 presents a 10x HD optical zoom lens, a 3.5-inch widescreen LCD display with 920k-dot resolution, and a 1/3″ CMOS optical sensor with 2.07-megapixel camcorder sensor resolution. For storage, this device collocates a media slot for a microSD memory card, and two more for CF media. Full 1080p HD video capture is enabled on the XF100, with several other recording options made available. Other features include a HDMI terminal (type A), component and composite video outputs, and a hi-speed USB 2.0 connectivity option.
